Richard Jones<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-9834-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/08-02-2026.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/08-02-2026.mp3\">http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/08-02-2026.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>CARELESSNESS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 17:1-3 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0And he said to his disciples, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cTemptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Matthew 18:1-7 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, \u201cWho is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and said, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cTruly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">4 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cWhoever receives one such child in my name receives me,<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cWoe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Romans 14:13 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">13 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>FORGIVENESS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 17:3-6 (ESV)<\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him,<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">4 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, \u2018I repent,\u2019 you must forgive him.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0The apostles said to the Lord, \u201cIncrease our faith!\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And the Lord said, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cIf you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, \u2018Be uprooted and planted in the sea,\u2019 and it would obey you.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ephesians 4:1-3 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Matthew 18:15-18 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">15 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cIf your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>FAITHFULNESS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 17:7-10 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">7 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cWill any one of you who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, \u2018Come at once and recline at table\u2019?<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Will he not rather say to him, \u2018Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink\u2019?<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded?<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, \u2018We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>1 John 5:3 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>THANKFULNESS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 17:11-19 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">11 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">12 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and lifted up their voices, saying, \u201cJesus, Master, have mercy on us.\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0When he saw them he said to them, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cGo and show yourselves to the priests.\u201d<\/span> And as they went they were cleansed.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice;<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and he fell on his face at Jesus\u2019 feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Then Jesus answered, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cWere not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he said to him, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cRise and go your way; your faith has made you well.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Hebrews 13:15 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THINGS THAT MATTER Luke 17: 1-19 by Rev.
