A Shrewd Scoundrel<\/strong><\/h2>\nLuke 16:1-8 (ESV) <\/b>
\n1 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0He also said to the disciples, \u201cThere was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was wasting his possessions.<\/span>
\n2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he called him and said to him, \u2018What is this that I hear about you? Turn in the account of your management, for you can no longer be manager.\u2019<\/span>
\n3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And the manager said to himself, \u2018What shall I do, since my master is taking the management away from me? I am not strong enough to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.<\/span>
\n4 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0I have decided what to do, so that when I am removed from management, people may receive me into their houses.\u2019<\/span>
\n5 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0So, summoning his master\u2019s debtors one by one, he said to the first, \u2018How much do you owe my master?\u2019<\/span>
\n6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0He said, \u2018A hundred measures of oil.\u2019 He said to him, \u2018Take your bill, and sit down quickly and write fifty.\u2019<\/span>
\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Then he said to another, \u2018And how much do you owe?\u2019 He said, \u2018A hundred measures of wheat.\u2019 He said to him, \u2018Take your bill, and write eighty.\u2019<\/span>
\n8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nMatthew 10:16 (ESV) <\/b>
\n16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cBehold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
A Faithful Servant<\/strong><\/h2>\nLuke 16:9-13 (ESV) <\/b>
\n9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal dwellings.<\/span>
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cOne who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.<\/span>
\n11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?<\/span>
\n12 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And if you have not been faithful in that which is another\u2019s, who will give you that which is your own?<\/span>
\n13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nEphesians 5:15-16 (ESV) <\/b>
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God\u2019s varied grace:<\/p>\n1 Thessalonians 2:4 (ESV) <\/b>
\n4 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts.<\/p>\nRomans 14:10-12 (ESV) <\/b>
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God;
\n11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0for it is written, \u201cAs I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,<\/span> and every tongue shall confess to God.\u201d<\/span>
\n12 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.<\/span><\/p>\n1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (ESV) <\/b>
\n13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0each one\u2019s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.
\n14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0If anyone\u2019s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.<\/p>\nMatthew 6:19-21 (ESV) <\/b>
