Richard Jones<\/b><\/h2>\n<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-9780-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/06-28-2026.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/06-28-2026.mp3\">http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/06-28-2026.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 14:12-14 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">12 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0He said also to the man who had invited him, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cWhen you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.\u201d<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>PARABLE<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 14:15-24 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0When one of those who reclined at table with him heard these things, he said to him, \u201cBlessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But he said to him, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cA man once gave a great banquet and invited many.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And at the time for the banquet he sent his servant to say to those who had been invited, \u2018Come, for everything is now ready.\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said to him, \u2018I have bought a field, and I must go out and see it. Please have me excused.\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And another said, \u2018I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to examine them. Please have me excused.\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">20 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And another said, \u2018I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">21 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">So the servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and said to his servant, \u2018Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor and crippled and blind and lame.\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">22 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And the servant said, \u2018Sir, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">23 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And the master said to the servant, \u2018Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">24 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">24 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">25 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ephesians 4:15-16 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EXCUSES Luke 14: 15-24 by Rev.
