The Empire of Christ<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Luke 13:18-21 (ESV) <\/b>
\n18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0He said therefore, \u201cWhat is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it?<\/span>
\n19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.\u201d<\/span>
\n20 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And again he said, \u201cTo what shall I compare the kingdom of God?<\/span>
\n21 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0It is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Narrow Door<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Luke 13:22-28 (ESV) <\/b>
\n22 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0He went on his way through towns and villages, teaching and journeying toward Jerusalem.
\n23 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And someone said to him, \u201cLord, will those who are saved be few?\u201d And he said to them,
\n24 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cStrive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.<\/span>
\n25 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, \u2018Lord, open to us,\u2019 then he will answer you, \u2018I do not know where you come from.\u2019<\/span>
\n26 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Then you will begin to say, \u2018We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.\u2019<\/span>
\n27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But he will say, \u2018I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!\u2019<\/span>
\n28 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Unexpected Guest<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Luke 13:29-30 (ESV) <\/b>
\n29 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God.<\/span>
\n30 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Isaiah 25:6-10 (ESV) <\/b>
\n6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0On this mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,<\/span> of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.<\/span>
\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples,<\/span> the veil that is spread over all nations.<\/span>
\n8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.
\n9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0It will be said on that day, \u201cBehold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.\u201d
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For the hand of the LORD<\/span> will rest on this mountain, and Moab shall be trampled down in his place, as straw is trampled down in a dunghill. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Isaiah 66:18 (ESV) <\/b>
\n18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cFor I know their works and their thoughts, and the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory,<\/p>\n

Revelation 19:6-9 (ESV) <\/b>
\n6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, <\/span>\u201cHallelujah!<\/span> For the Lord our God<\/span> the Almighty reigns.<\/span>
\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory,<\/span> for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;<\/span>
\n8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure\u201d\u2014<\/span> for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.<\/span>
\n9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And the angel said to me, \u201cWrite this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.\u201d And he said to me, \u201cThese are the true words of God.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
