WAITING<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\nLuke 12:35-40 (ESV) <\/b>
\n35 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cStay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning,<\/span>
\n36 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks.<\/span>
\n37 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.<\/span>
\n38 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them awake, blessed are those servants!<\/span>
\n39 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But know this, that if the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into.<\/span>

\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

\n6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0So when they had come together, they asked him, \u201cLord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?\u201d
\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0He said to them, \u201cIt is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.<\/span>
\n8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.\u201d<\/span>
\n9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes,
\n11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and said, \u201cMen of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n2 Peter 3:8-9 (ESV) <\/b>
\n8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
\n9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.<\/p>\n1 Peter 4:7-11 (ESV) <\/b>
\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
\n8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
\n9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God\u2019s varied grace:
\n11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies\u2014in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
WORKING<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nLuke 12:41-48 (ESV) <\/b>
\n41 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Peter said, \u201cLord, are you telling this parable for us or for all?\u201d
\n42 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And the Lord said, \u201cWho then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?<\/span>
\n43 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.<\/span>
\n44 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.<\/span>
\n45 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But if that servant says to himself, \u2018My master is delayed in coming,\u2019 and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk,<\/span>
\n46 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful.<\/span>
\n47 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And that servant who knew his master\u2019s will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating.<\/span>
\n48 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.<\/span><\/p>\nHebrews 9:27-28 (ESV) <\/b>
\n27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,
\n28 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.<\/p>\n2 Corinthians 6:2 (ESV) <\/b>
\n2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For he says, \u201cIn a favorable time I listened to you,<\/span> and in a day of salvation I have helped you.\u201d<\/span> Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
