Richard Jones<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-9623-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/03-22-2026.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/03-22-2026.mp3\">http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/03-22-2026.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ambassadors of Jesus<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 10:1-3 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he said to them, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cThe harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Appointment of Trust<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 10:4-9 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">4 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Carry no moneybag, no knapsack, no sandals, and greet no one on the road.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Whatever house you enter, first say, \u2018Peace be to this house!\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Heal the sick in it and say to them, \u2018The kingdom of God has come near to you.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Announcement of Judgement<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 10:10-16 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">But whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go into its streets and say,<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">\u2018Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near.\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">12 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">13 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cWoe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">But it will be more bearable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cThe one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Accounting of Victory<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 10:17-20 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">17 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, \u201cLord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he said to them, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cI saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">20 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Revelation 20:10 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.<\/p>\n<p><b>Philippians 4:2-3 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, who have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Revelation 21:27 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb\u2019s book of life.<\/p>\n<p><b>Jeremiah 17:13 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0O LORD, the hope of Israel, <span class=\"poetry2\">all who forsake you shall be put to shame;<\/span> <span class=\"poetry1\">those who turn away from you shall be written in the earth,<\/span> <span class=\"poetry2\">for they have forsaken the <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">LORD<\/span>, the fountain of living water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Approval of Grace<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 10:21-24 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">21 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cI thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">22 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">23 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Then turning to the disciples he said privately, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cBlessed are the eyes that see what you see!<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">24 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"JesusWords\">For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>1 Corinthians 1:26-29 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">26 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">28 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">29 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SENDING THE 70 Luke 10: 1-24 \u00a0by Rev.
