Richard Jones<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-9529-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/01-11-2026.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/01-11-2026.mp3\">http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/01-11-2026.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Not Too Proud To Ask<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 8:40-42 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">40 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">41 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And there came a man named Jairus, who was a ruler of the synagogue. And falling at Jesus\u2019 feet, he implored him to come to his house,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">42 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying. As Jesus went, the people pressed around him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mark 5:22-24 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">22 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Then came one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing him, he fell at his feet<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">23 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and implored him earnestly, saying, \u201cMy little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">24 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he went with him. <span class=\"ind\">And a great crowd followed him and thronged about him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Not Lost In The Crowd<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 8:43-48 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">43 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians, she could not be healed by anyone.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">44 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately her discharge of blood ceased.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">45 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And Jesus said, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cWho was it that touched me?\u201d<\/span> When all denied it, Peter said, \u201cMaster, the crowds surround you and are pressing in on you!\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">46 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But Jesus said, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cSomeone touched me, for I perceive that power has gone out from me.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">47 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">48 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he said to her, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cDaughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mark 5:25-28 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">25 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">26 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">28 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For she said, \u201cIf I touch even his garments, I will be made well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Not Hopeless With Jesus<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Luke 8:49-56 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">49 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0While he was still speaking, someone from the ruler\u2019s house came and said, \u201cYour daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more.\u201d<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">50 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But Jesus on hearing this answered him, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cDo not fear; only believe, and she will be well.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">51 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when he came to the house, he allowed no one to enter with him, except Peter and John and James, and the father and mother of the child.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">52 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And all were weeping and mourning for her, but he said, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cDo not weep, for she is not dead but sleeping.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">53 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And they laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">54 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But taking her by the hand he called, saying, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cChild, arise.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">55 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And her spirit returned, and she got up at once. And he directed that something should be given her to eat.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">56 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And her parents were amazed, but he charged them to tell no one what had happened.<\/p>\n<p><b>Matthew 9:23-24 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">23 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when Jesus came to the ruler\u2019s house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">24 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0he said, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cGo away, for the girl is not dead but sleeping.\u201d<\/span> And they laughed at him.<\/p>\n<p><b>2 Corinthians 5:6-9 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0for we walk by faith, not by sight.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.<\/p>\n<p><b>Mark 5:41-42 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">41 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Taking her by the hand he said to her, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cTalitha cumi,\u201d<\/span> which means, <span class=\"JesusWords\">\u201cLittle girl, I say to you, arise.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">42 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE WITNESS OF TWO HEALINGS Luke 8: 40-56 \u00a0by Rev.
