Richard Jones<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><u>PROVEN LOVE<\/u><\/b><\/h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Romans 5: 3-11<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-8423-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/02-25-2024.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/02-25-2024.mp3\">http:\/\/www.crossroadchristianfellowship.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/02-25-2024.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 5:1-2 (ESV) (Review)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\u00a0 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2\u00a0 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>PROGRESS THROUGH PROBLEMS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 5:3-5 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3\u00a0 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4\u00a0 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5\u00a0 and hope does not put us to shame, because God\u2019s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Peter 1:6-7 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n6\u00a0 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7\u00a0 so that the tested genuineness of your faith\u2014more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire\u2014may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>James 1:2-4 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n2\u00a0 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,<br \/>\n3\u00a0 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.<br \/>\n4\u00a0 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking <strong>in nothing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Philippians 1:6 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n6\u00a0 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>DEPTH OF DEMONSTRATION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 5:6-9 (ESV)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6\u00a0 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7\u00a0 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person\u2014though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die\u20148\u00a0 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9\u00a0 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be <strong>saved by him from the wrath of God.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2 Thessalonians 1:6-9 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n6\u00a0 since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you,<br \/>\n7\u00a0 and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8\u00a0 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.<br \/>\n9\u00a0 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Thessalonians 5:9 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n9\u00a0 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LIFE BY LIFE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 5:10-11 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10\u00a0 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11\u00a0 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hebrews 7:22-25 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>22\u00a0 This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant. 23\u00a0 The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24\u00a0 but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. 25\u00a0 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ALL ABOUT GOD (Sermon Series) \u00a0by Rev.
