You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11\u00a0 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12\u00a0 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13\u00a0 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n9\u00a0 But he said to me, \u201cMy grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.\u201d Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.<br \/>\n10\u00a0 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>THE PROMISE OF GOD<br \/>\n<\/u>Philippians 4:14-20 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n14\u00a0 Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble. 15\u00a0 And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. 16\u00a0 Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. 17\u00a0 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. 18\u00a0 I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.\u00a0 19\u00a0 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20\u00a0 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 Corinthians 8:1-4 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n1\u00a0 We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, 2\u00a0 for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. 3\u00a0 For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, 4\u00a0 begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints\u2014<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luke 6:38 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n38\u00a0 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proverbs 3:9-10 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n9\u00a0 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce;<br \/>\n10\u00a0 then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n6\u00a0 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.<br \/>\n7\u00a0 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.<br \/>\n8\u00a0 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>THE PEOPLE OF GOD<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>Philippians 4:21-23 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n21\u00a0 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus.
