You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John 16:7 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n7\u00a0 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER<br \/>\n<\/u>John 14:25-26 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n25\u00a0 \u201cThese things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26\u00a0 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John 15:26 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n26\u00a0 \u201cBut when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>THE PRODUCER OF CONVICTION<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>John 16:8-11 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n8\u00a0 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:<br \/>\n9\u00a0 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; 10\u00a0 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;<br \/>\n11\u00a0 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>THE PROVISION OF ALL BELIEVERS<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>Ephesians 1:13-14 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n13\u00a0 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14\u00a0 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 8:9 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n9\u00a0 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n19\u00a0 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20\u00a0 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Corinthians 12:12-13 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n12\u00a0 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13\u00a0 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body\u2014Jews or Greeks, slaves or free\u2014and all were made to drink of one Spirit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>THE POWER OF CHRISTIAN LIVING<br \/>\n<\/u>Galatians 5:16 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n16\u00a0 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Galatians 5:22-25 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n22\u00a0 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23\u00a0 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.<br \/>\n24\u00a0 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25\u00a0 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HOLY SPIRIT, HOLY FRIEND Selected scriptures by Rev.
