But they said, \u2018We will not walk in it.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeremiah 5:30-31 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n30\u00a0 An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land:<br \/>\n31\u00a0 the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>REVERENCE FOR GOD<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Isaiah 6:1-5 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n1\u00a0 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple.<br \/>\n2\u00a0 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a03\u00a0 And one called to another and said: \u201cHoly, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!\u201d<br \/>\n4\u00a0 And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.<br \/>\n5\u00a0 And I said: \u201cWoe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isaiah 40:21-26 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n21\u00a0 Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22\u00a0 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in; 23\u00a0 who brings princes to nothing, and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness. 24\u00a0 Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth, when he blows on them, and they wither, and the tempest carries them off like stubble. 25\u00a0 To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One. 26\u00a0 Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<u>RESPECT FOR THE BIBLE<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n16\u00a0 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,<br \/>\n17\u00a0 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>REGARD FOR THE CHURCH<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n24\u00a0 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,<br \/>\n25\u00a0 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<u>READINESS FOR THE GOSPEL<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>1 Peter 3:15 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n15\u00a0 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isaiah 30:18 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n18\u00a0 Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
