But if I go, I will send him to you.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a08\u00a0 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:<br \/>\n9\u00a0 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;<br \/>\n10\u00a0 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;<br \/>\n11\u00a0 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acts 2:36-38 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n36\u00a0 Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.\u201d<br \/>\n37\u00a0 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, \u201cBrothers, what shall we do?\u201d<br \/>\n38\u00a0 And Peter said to them, \u201cRepent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>UNDERSTANDING IS COMING<\/u> <u><br \/>\n<\/u>John 16:12-15 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n12\u00a0 \u201cI still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13\u00a0 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14\u00a0 He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15\u00a0 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isaiah 42:8-9 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n8\u00a0 I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.<br \/>\n9\u00a0 Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>John 14:26 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n26\u00a0 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0JOY IS COMING<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>John 16:16-24 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n16\u00a0 \u201cA little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me.\u201d 17\u00a0 So some of his disciples said to one another, \u201cWhat is this that he says to us, \u2018A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me\u2019; and, \u2018because I am going to the Father\u2019?\u201d 18\u00a0 So they were saying, \u201cWhat does he mean by \u2018a little while\u2019? We do not know what he is talking about.\u201d 19\u00a0 Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, \u201cIs this what you are asking yourselves, what I meant by saying, \u2018A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me\u2019?\u00a0 20\u00a0 Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.\u00a0 21\u00a0 When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22\u00a0 So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. 23\u00a0 In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. 24\u00a0 Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 8:28 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n28\u00a0 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acts 4:16-20 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n16\u00a0 saying, \u201cWhat shall we do with these men? For that a notable sign has been performed through them is evident to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. 17\u00a0 But in order that it may spread no further among the people, let us warn them to speak no more to anyone in this name.\u201d 18\u00a0 So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19\u00a0 But Peter and John answered them, \u201cWhether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, 20\u00a0 for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hebrews 4:14-16 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n14\u00a0 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.<br \/>\n15\u00a0 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.<br \/>\n16\u00a0 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>VICTORY IS COMING<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>John 16:25-33 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n25\u00a0 \u201cI have said these things to you in figures of speech. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech but will tell you plainly about the Father. 26\u00a0 In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; 27\u00a0 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. 28\u00a0 I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.\u201d 29\u00a0 His disciples said, \u201cAh, now you are speaking plainly and not using figurative speech! 30\u00a0 Now we know that you know all things and do not need anyone to question you; this is why we believe that you came from God.\u201d 31\u00a0 Jesus answered them, \u201cDo you now believe? 32\u00a0 Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.\u00a0\u00a0 33\u00a0 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation.
