And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.\u201d<br \/>\n22\u00a0 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, \u201cLord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 23\u00a0 Jesus answered him, \u201cIf anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.<br \/>\n24\u00a0 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father\u2019s who sent me.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LEARNING FROM THE SPIRIT&#8217;S VOICE<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>John 14:25-27 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n25\u00a0 \u201cThese things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26\u00a0 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27\u00a0 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philippians 4:7 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n7\u00a0 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>TRUSTING IN THE KINGDOM PLAN<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>John 14:28-31 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n28\u00a0 You heard me say to you, \u2018I am going away, and I will come to you.\u2019 If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29\u00a0 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. 30\u00a0 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31\u00a0 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philippians 2:5-8 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n5\u00a0 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,<br \/>\n6\u00a0 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,<br \/>\n7\u00a0 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.<br \/>\n8\u00a0 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>RESTING IN THE LIVING VINE<\/u><u><br \/>\n<\/u>John 15:1-8 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n1\u00a0 \u201cI am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2\u00a0 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3\u00a0 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 4\u00a0 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5\u00a0 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.<br \/>\n6\u00a0 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.<br \/>\n7\u00a0 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.<br \/>\n8\u00a0 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isaiah 5:7 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n7\u00a0 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, an outcry!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n22\u00a0 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,<br \/>\n23\u00a0 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Colossians 1:9-10 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n9\u00a0 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,<br \/>\n10\u00a0 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 1:13 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n13\u00a0 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hebrews 13:15 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n15\u00a0 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Corinthians 11:28-30 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n28\u00a0 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29\u00a0 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.<br \/>\n30\u00a0 That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to John (Sermon series) \u00a0by Rev.
