And what shall I say? \u2018Father, save me from this hour\u2019? But for this purpose I have come to this hour. 28\u00a0 Father, glorify your name.\u201d Then a voice came from heaven: \u201cI have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.\u201d 29\u00a0 The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, \u201cAn angel has spoken to him.\u201d 30\u00a0 Jesus answered, \u201cThis voice has come for your sake, not mine.<\/p>\n<p><b>2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV) <\/b><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">21 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>CHOICE OF OPPORTUNITY<br \/>\n<\/u>John 12:31-36 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n31\u00a0 Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out. 32\u00a0 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.\u201d 33\u00a0 He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. 34\u00a0 So the crowd answered him, \u201cWe have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?\u201d 35\u00a0 So Jesus said to them, \u201cThe light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. 36\u00a0 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.\u201d When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel 7:14 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n14\u00a0 And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ezekiel 37:24-25 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n24\u00a0 \u201cMy servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes.<br \/>\n25\u00a0 They shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children\u2019s children shall dwell there forever, and David my servant shall be their prince forever.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isaiah 9:6-7 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n6\u00a0 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.<br \/>\n7\u00a0 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>PROPHECY OF BLINDNESS<br \/>\n<\/u>John 12:37-43 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n37\u00a0 Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him,<br \/>\n38\u00a0 so that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: \u201cLord, who has believed what he heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?\u201d<br \/>\n39\u00a0 Therefore they could not believe. For again Isaiah said,<br \/>\n40\u00a0 \u201cHe has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.\u201d 41\u00a0 Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him. 42\u00a0 Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; 43\u00a0 for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John 1:5 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n5\u00a0 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isaiah 55:10-11 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n10\u00a0 \u201cFor as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11\u00a0 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>WORDS OF HEAVEN<br \/>\n<\/u>John 12:44-50 (ESV)<\/strong><br \/>\n44\u00a0 And Jesus cried out and said, \u201cWhoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45\u00a0 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me.<br \/>\n46\u00a0 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. 47\u00a0 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48\u00a0 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. 49\u00a0 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment\u2014what to say and what to speak. 50\u00a0 And I know that his commandment is eternal life.
