RADICAL SEARCH<\/u>
\n<\/u>John 11:55-57 (ESV)<\/strong>
\n55\u00a0 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover to purify themselves. 56\u00a0 They were looking for Jesus and saying to one another as they stood in the temple, \u201cWhat do you think? That he will not come to the feast at all?\u201d 57\u00a0 Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where he was, he should let them know, so that they might arrest him.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

RADICAL LOVE<\/u>
\n<\/u>John 12:1-11 (ESV)<\/strong>
\n1\u00a0 Six days before the Passover, Jesus therefore came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2\u00a0 So they gave a dinner for him there. Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those reclining with him at table. 3\u00a0 Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. 4\u00a0 But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said, 5\u00a0 \u201cWhy was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?\u201d 6\u00a0 He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it. 7\u00a0 Jesus said, \u201cLeave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial. 8\u00a0 For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.\u201d 9\u00a0 When the large crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came, not only on account of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. 10\u00a0 So the chief priests made plans to put Lazarus to death as well,
\n11\u00a0 because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.<\/p>\n

RADICAL ENTRANCE
\n<\/u>John 12:12-19 (ESV)<\/strong>
\n12\u00a0 The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
\n13\u00a0 So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, \u201cHosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!\u201d 14\u00a0 And Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written, 15\u00a0 \u201cFear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey\u2019s colt!\u201d 16\u00a0 His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about him and had been done to him. 17\u00a0 The crowd that had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to bear witness. 18\u00a0 The reason why the crowd went to meet him was that they heard he had done this sign. 19\u00a0 So the Pharisees said to one another, \u201cYou see that you are gaining nothing. Look, the world has gone after him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zechariah 9:9 (ESV)<\/strong>
\n9\u00a0 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.<\/p>\n

RADICAL PARADOX
\n<\/u>John 12:20-26 (ESV)<\/strong>
\n20\u00a0 Now among those who went up to worship at the feast were some Greeks.
\n21\u00a0 So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, \u201cSir, we wish to see Jesus.\u201d
\n22\u00a0 Philip went and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a023\u00a0 And Jesus answered them, \u201cThe hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
\n24\u00a0 Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
