Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven,\u00a0holding in his hand the key to\u00a0the bottomless pit and a great chain.\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And he seized\u00a0the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and\u00a0bound him for a thousand years,\u00a03\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>and threw him into\u00a0the pit, and shut it and\u00a0sealed it over him, so that\u00a0he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. \u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence\u00a0earth and sky fled away, and\u00a0no place was found for them.\u00a012\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and\u00a0books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is\u00a0the book of life. \u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and\u00a0a thousand years as one day.\u00a09\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise\u00a0as some count slowness, but\u00a0is patient toward you,\u00a0not wishing that any should perish, but\u00a0that all should reach repentance.<\/span><\/h2>\n
