\u00a0<\/strong>Then\u00a0one of the seven angels who had\u00a0the seven bowls came and said to me, \u201cCome, I will show you the judgment of\u00a0the great prostitute\u00a0who is seated on many waters,\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and\u00a0with the wine of whose sexual immorality\u00a0the dwellers on earth have become drunk.\u201d\u00a03\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And\u00a0he carried me away in the Spirit\u00a0into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on\u00a0a scarlet beast that was full of\u00a0blasphemous names, and\u00a0it had seven heads and ten horns.\u00a04\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The woman\u00a0was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned\u00a0with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand\u00a0a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.\u00a05\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And on her forehead was written a name of\u00a0mystery:\u00a0\u201cBabylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.\u201d\u00a06\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And I saw the woman, drunk\u00a0with the blood of the saints, the blood of\u00a0the martyrs of Jesus.<\/h2>\n

THE SUPPORTED HARLOT\u00a0\u00a0 Revelation 17: 7-14<\/strong><\/h2>\n
But the angel said to me, \u201cWhy do you marvel? I will tell you\u00a0the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her.\u00a08\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The beast that you saw\u00a0was, and is not, and\u00a0is about to rise from\u00a0the bottomless pit[<\/sup>a<\/sup><\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0and\u00a0go to destruction. And\u00a0the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in\u00a0the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because\u00a0it was and is not and is to come.\u00a09\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated;\u00a010\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while.\u00a011\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>As for the beast\u00a0that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.\u00a012\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And\u00a0the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings\u00a0for one hour, together with the beast.\u00a013\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast.\u00a014\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>They\u00a0will make war on the Lamb, and\u00a0the Lamb will conquer them, for he is\u00a0Lord of lords and\u00a0King of kings, and those with him are\u00a0called and chosen and faithful.\u201d<\/h2>\n

THE SABOTAGED HARLOT\u00a0\u00a0 Revelation 17: 15-18<\/strong> \u00a0<\/sup><\/strong><\/h2>\n
And the angel said to me,\u00a0\u201cThe waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages.\u00a016\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And\u00a0the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast\u00a0will hate the prostitute. They will make her\u00a0desolate and\u00a0naked, and\u00a0devour her flesh and\u00a0burn her up with fire,\u00a017\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>for\u00a0God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and\u00a0handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.\u00a018\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And the woman that you saw is\u00a0the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.\u201d<\/h2>\n

After this I saw\u00a0another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and\u00a0the earth was made bright with his glory.\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And he called out with a mighty voice, \u201cFallen, fallen is Babylon the great!\u00a0She has become\u00a0a dwelling place for demons,
\na haunt\u00a0for every unclean spirit, a haunt\u00a0for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.3\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and\u00a0the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her,
