LETTER TO A CORRUPTED CHURCH<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Revelation 2: 18-29<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cAnd to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: \u201d\u02dcThe words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>19\u00a0<\/sup>\u201c\u201d\u02dcI know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.<\/span><\/span>\u00a020\u00a0<\/sup>But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman\u00a0Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants\u00a0to practice sexual immorality and\u00a0to eat food sacrificed to idols.<\/span><\/span>\u00a021\u00a0<\/sup>I gave her time to repent, but\u00a0she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.<\/span><\/span>\u00a022\u00a0<\/sup>Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works,<\/span><\/span>\u00a023\u00a0<\/sup>and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he\u00a0who searches mind and heart, and\u00a0I will give to each of you according to your works.<\/span><\/span>\u00a024\u00a0<\/sup>But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call\u00a0the deep things of Satan, to you I say, I\u00a0do not lay on you any other burden.<\/span><\/span>\u00a025\u00a0<\/sup>Only hold fast\u00a0what you have until I come.<\/span><\/span>\u00a026\u00a0<\/sup>The one who conquers and who keeps my works\u00a0until the end,\u00a0to him I will give authority over the nations,<\/span><\/span>\u00a027\u00a0<\/sup>and he will rule\u00a0them with a rod of iron,\u00a0as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father.<\/span><\/span>\u00a028\u00a0<\/sup>And I will give him\u00a0the morning star.<\/span><\/span>\u00a029\u00a0<\/sup>He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.\u201d\u2122<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

HOLY SERVICE\u00a0 \u00a0Revelation 2: 18-19<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

UNHOLY TEACHER\u00a0 \u00a0Revelation 2: 20<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Philippians 1: 9-10<\/span><\/h2>\n

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 <\/strong>so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,<\/span><\/h2>\n

HOLY JUDGMENT\u00a0 \u00a0Revelation 2: 21-23<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

1 <\/strong>I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 <\/strong>Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works, 23 <\/strong>and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works.<\/span><\/h2>\n

1 Corinthians 11: 27-30<\/span><\/h2>\n

Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 <\/strong>Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 <\/strong>For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30 <\/strong>That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Mark 9: 42<\/span><\/h2>\n

2 <\/strong>\u201cWhoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.<\/span><\/h2>\n

HOLY SEPARATION\u00a0 \u00a0Revelation 2: 24-25 <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

4 <\/strong>But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call the deep things of Satan, to you I say, I do not lay on you any other burden. 25 <\/strong>Only hold fast what you have until I come.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Colossians 2: 6-10<\/span><\/h2>\n

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 <\/strong>rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. 8 <\/strong>See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 <\/strong>For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10 <\/strong>and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.<\/span><\/h2>\n

HOLY AUTHORITY\u00a0 \u00a0Revelation 2: 26-29<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
