Ephesians 5: 22-33<\/strong><\/h1>\n

THE SUBMISSION OF LOVE\u00a0 \u00a0Ephesians 5: 22-24<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Wives,\u00a0submit to your own husbands,\u00a0as to the Lord.\u00a023\u00a0<\/strong>For\u00a0the husband is the head of the wife even as\u00a0Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is\u00a0himself its Savior.\u00a024\u00a0<\/strong>Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit\u00a0in everything to their husbands.<\/h3>\n

1 Peter 3: 1-4<\/h3>\n

Likewise, wives,\u00a0be subject to your own husbands, so that\u00a0even if some do not obey the word,\u00a0they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives,\u00a02\u00a0<\/strong>when they see your\u00a0respectful and pure conduct.\u00a03\u00a0<\/strong>Do not let your adorning be external\u201d\u201dthe braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear\u201d\u201d\u00a04\u00a0<\/strong>but let your adorning be\u00a0the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.<\/h3>\n

THE EXAMPLE OF LOVE\u00a0 \u00a0Ephesians 5: 25-30<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and\u00a0gave himself up for her,\u00a026\u00a0<\/strong>that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by\u00a0the washing of water\u00a0with the word,\u00a027\u00a0<\/strong>so\u00a0that he might present the church to himself in splendor,\u00a0without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. 28\u00a0<\/strong>In the same way\u00a0husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.\u00a029\u00a0<\/strong>For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church,\u00a030\u00a0<\/strong>because\u00a0we are members of his body.<\/h3>\n

1 Peter 1: 18-19<\/h3>\n

\u00a0knowing that you\u00a0were ransomed from\u00a0the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,\u00a019\u00a0<\/strong>but\u00a0with the precious blood of Christ, like that of\u00a0a lamb\u00a0without blemish or spot.<\/h3>\n

THE COMMITMENT OF LOVE\u00a0 \u00a0Ephesians 5: 31-33<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cTherefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and\u00a0the two shall become one flesh.\u201d\u00a032\u00a0<\/strong>This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.\u00a033\u00a0<\/strong>However,\u00a0let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she\u00a0respects her husband.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
