HIS POWER OPPOSED\u00a0<\/strong> (Message)<\/h2>\n

From Matthew chapters 9 & 12<\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

A DESPERATE ACT\u00a0 Matthew \u00a09: 1-8\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to\u00a0his own city.\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus\u00a0saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,\u00a0\u201cTake heart, my son;\u00a0your sins are forgiven.\u201d\u00a03\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves,\u00a0\u201cThis man is blaspheming.\u201d\u00a04\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But Jesus,\u00a0knowing\u00a0their thoughts, said,\u00a0\u201cWhy do you think evil in your hearts?\u00a05\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>For which is easier, to say, \u201d\u02dcYour sins are forgiven,\u201d\u2122 or to say, \u201d\u02dcRise and walk\u201d\u2122?\u00a06\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins\u201d\u201d\u201dhe then said to the paralytic\u201d\u201d\u201cRise, pick up your bed and go home.\u201d\u00a07\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And he rose and went home.\u00a08\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>When the crowds saw it,\u00a0they were afraid, and\u00a0they glorified God, who had\u00a0given such authority to men.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

A DESPERATE TOUCH Matthew 9: 18-26<\/strong><\/h3>\n

While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and\u00a0knelt before him, saying, \u201cMy daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.\u201d\u00a019\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples.\u00a020\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And behold, a woman\u00a0who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched\u00a0the fringe of his garment,\u00a021\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>for she said to herself, \u201cIf I only touch his garment, I will be made well.\u201d\u00a022\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Jesus turned, and seeing her he said,\u00a0\u201cTake heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.\u201d\u00a0And instantly\u00a0the woman was made well.\u00a023\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house and saw\u00a0the flute players and the crowd making a commotion,\u00a024\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>he said,\u00a0\u201cGo away, for\u00a0the girl is not dead but\u00a0sleeping.\u201d\u00a0And they laughed at him.\u00a025\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But\u00a0when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and\u00a0took her by the hand, and the girl arose.\u00a026\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And the report of this went through all that district.<\/h3>\n

A DESPERATE ISSUE\u00a0\u00a0 Matthew 12: 9-14\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

He went on from there and\u00a0entered their synagogue.\u00a010\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him,\u00a0\u201cIs it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?\u201d\u201d\u201dso that they might accuse him.\u00a011\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>He said to them,\u00a0\u201cWhich one of you who has a sheep,\u00a0if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out?\u00a012\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So\u00a0it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.\u201d\u00a013\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Then he said to the man,\u00a0\u201cStretch out your hand.\u201d\u00a0And\u00a0the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other.\u00a014\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, how to destroy him.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
