\n\u201cAt that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 When the foolish took their lamps, they didn\u201d\u2122t take oil with them; 4 but the wise ones took oil in their flasks with their lamps. 5 When the groom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 \u201cIn the middle of the night there was a shout: \u201d\u02dcHere\u201d\u2122s the groom! Come out to meet him.\u201d\u2122 7 \u201cThen all the virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise ones, \u201d\u02dcGive us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.\u201d\u2122 9 \u201cThe wise ones answered, \u201d\u02dcNo, there won\u201d\u2122t be enough for us and for you. \n\u201cDon\u201d\u2122t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father\u201d\u2122s house are many rooms; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also.<\/p>\n
\nFor we say this to you by a word from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord\u201d\u2122s coming will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel\u201d\u2122s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.<\/p>\n
\nThen I heard something like the voice of a vast multitude, like the sound of cascading waters, and like the rumbling of loud thunder, saying, Hallelujah, because our Lord God, the Almighty, reigns! 7 Let us be glad, rejoice, and give him glory, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself. 8 She was given fine linen to wear, bright and pure. For the fine linen represents the righteous acts of the saints. 9 Then he said to me, \u201cWrite: Blessed are those invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb!\u201d He also said to me, \u201cThese words of God are true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cNot everyone who says to me, \u201d\u02dcLord, Lord,\u201d\u2122 will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, \u201d\u02dcLord, Lord, didn\u201d\u2122t we prophesy in your name, drive out demons in your name, and do many miracles in your name?\u201d\u2122 23 Then I will announce to them, \u201d\u02dcI never knew you. Depart from me, you lawbreakers!\u201d\u2122<\/p>\n
