FORECAST OF THE FUTURE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mark 13:1-4 (ESV) <\/b>
\n1 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, \u201cLook, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!\u201d
\n2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And Jesus said to him, \u201cDo you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.\u201d<\/span>
\n3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And as he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
\n4 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cTell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FIRST HALF OF THE TRIBULATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mark 13:5-13 (ESV) <\/b>
\n5 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And Jesus began to say to them, \u201cSee that no one leads you astray.<\/span>
\n6 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Many will come in my name, saying, \u201d\u02dcI am he!\u201d\u2122 and they will lead many astray.<\/span>
\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. This must take place, but the end is not yet.<\/span>
\n8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains.<\/span>
\n9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cBut be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them.<\/span>
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.<\/span>
\n11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.<\/span>
\n12 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death.<\/span>
\n13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And you will be hated by all for my name\u201d\u2122s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

MIDDLE OF THE TRIBULATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mark 13:14-18 (ESV) <\/b>
\n14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cBut when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.<\/span>
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Let the one who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter his house, to take anything out,<\/span>
\n16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.<\/span>
\n17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!<\/span>
\n18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Pray that it may not happen in winter.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel 9:27 (ESV) <\/b>
\n27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 30:7 (ESV) <\/b>
\n7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Alas! That day is so great there is none like it;<\/span> it is a time of distress for Jacob;<\/span> yet he shall be saved out of it.<\/span>

 <\/p>\n

SECOND HALF OF THE TRIBULATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mark 13:19-27 (ESV) <\/b>
\n19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be.<\/span>
\n20 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days.<\/span>
\n21 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And then if anyone says to you, \u201d\u02dcLook, here is the Christ!\u201d\u2122 or \u201d\u02dcLook, there he is!\u201d\u2122 do not believe it.<\/span>
\n22 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect.<\/span>
\n23 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But be on guard; I have told you all things beforehand.<\/span>
\n24 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cBut in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,<\/span>
\n25 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.<\/span>
\n26 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.<\/span>
\n27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Zephaniah 1:14-18 (ESV) <\/b>
\n14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0The great day of the LORD is near, near and hastening fast;<\/span> the sound of the day of the LORD is bitter;<\/span> the mighty man cries aloud there.<\/span>
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0A day of wrath is that day, a day of distress and anguish,<\/span> a day of ruin and devastation, a day of darkness and gloom,<\/span> a day of clouds and thick darkness,
\n16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0a day of trumpet blast and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the lofty battlements.
\n17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0I will bring distress on mankind, so that they shall walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the LORD; their blood shall be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung.
\n18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the LORD<\/span>. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mark 13:28-31 (ESV) <\/b>
\n28 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cFrom the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.<\/span>
\n29 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates.<\/span>
\n30 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.<\/span>
\n31 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ALWAYS BE ALERT<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mark 13:32-37 (ESV) <\/b>
\n32 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cBut concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.<\/span>
\n33 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.<\/span>
\n34 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake.<\/span>
\n35 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Therefore stay awake\u201d\u201dfor you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning\u201d\u201d<\/span>
\n36 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0lest he come suddenly and find you asleep.<\/span>
\n37 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.\u201d<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
