1 Corinthians 16:1-4 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>1 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do.
\n2 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.
\n3 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when I arrive, I will send those whom you accredit by letter to carry your gift to Jerusalem.

\n<\/strong>14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble.
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only.
\n16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again.
\n17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.
\n18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.
\n19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n

MOTIVE MATTERS<\/strong><\/h3>\n

2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>7 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.<\/p>\n

Malachi 3:10 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.<\/p>\n

PROMISE OF SUPPLY<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n<\/strong>8 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>25 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken<\/span> or his children begging for bread.<\/span>

\n<\/strong>25 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cTherefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?<\/span>
