REBELLION<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Luke 15:11-13 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he said, \u201cThere was a man who had two sons.<\/span>
\n12 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And the younger of them said to his father, \u201d\u02dcFather, give me the share of property that is coming to me.\u201d\u2122 And he divided his property between them.<\/span>
\n13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

REVERSAL<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Luke 15:14-16 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And when he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to be in need.<\/span>
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs.<\/span>
\n16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything.<\/span><\/p>\n

REPENTANCE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Luke 15:17-19 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cBut when he came to himself, he said, \u201d\u02dcHow many of my father\u201d\u2122s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger!<\/span>
\n18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, \u201cFather, I have sinned against heaven and before you.<\/span>
\n19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.\u201d\u201d\u2122<\/span><\/p>\n

RESTORING<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Luke 15:20-24 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>20 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.<\/span>
\n21 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And the son said to him, \u201d\u02dcFather, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.\u201d\u2122<\/span>
\n22 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But the father said to his servants, \u201d\u02dcBring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.<\/span>

\n20 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0and they shall say to the elders of his city, \u201d\u02dcThis our son is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.\u201d\u2122

Luke 15:25-30 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>25 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u201cNow his older son was in the field, and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.<\/span>
\n26 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant.<\/span>
\n27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he said to him, \u201d\u02dcYour brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and sound.\u201d\u2122<\/span>
\n28 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him,<\/span>
\n29 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0but he answered his father, \u201d\u02dcLook, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.<\/span>

Luke 15:31-32 (ESV)
\n<\/strong>31 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0And he said to him, \u201d\u02dcSon, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.<\/span>
\n32 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.\u201d\u2122\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
