You cannot serve God and wealth.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">25 <\/span><\/sup><span class=\"ind\">\u00a0&#8220;For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, <i>as to<\/i> what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, <i>as to<\/i> what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">26 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"versemode\">&#8220;<\/span>Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and <i>yet<\/i> your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">27 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"versemode\">&#8220;<\/span>And who of you by being worried can add a <i>single<\/i> hour to his life?<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">28 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"versemode\">&#8220;<\/span>And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">29 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">30 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"versemode\">&#8220;<\/span>But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is <i>alive<\/i> today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, <i>will He<\/i> not much more <i>clothe<\/i> you? You of little faith!<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">31 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"versemode\">&#8220;<\/span>Do not worry then, saying, &#8216;What will we eat?&#8217; or &#8216;What will we drink?&#8217; or &#8216;What will we wear for clothing?&#8217;<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">32 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"versemode\">&#8220;<\/span>For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">33 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0<span class=\"versemode\">&#8220;<\/span>But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">34 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0&#8220;So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0There are 773,692 words in the Bible (King James Version)<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\"> and not one of them is the word &#8230; WORRY!<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Worry (defined):<\/span> &#8220;to cause to feel troubled or uneasy; to make anxious;<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\"> to distress; something that causes mental distress.&#8221;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman; text-decoration: underline;\">Three (3) haunting truths about worry &#8230;<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">1. Worry has the capacity, power, and even the ability to <\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">redirect <\/span><\/b><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">our focus (maybe even our faith) away from Jesus Christ<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">2. Worry puts words and actions in our life that express &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">&#8220;GOD, YOU ARE UNABLE TO SEE ME THROUGH THIS!&#8221;<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">3. Worry can, and often will paralyze us, <\/span><\/b><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">emotionally, <\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">mentally, and spiritually<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">* Commit Yourself &#8230; vs. 24<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><sup><span style=\"font-size: small;\">24 <\/span><\/sup><\/span>\u00a0&#8220;No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.
