Salt and Light<\/span><\/h3>\n
\n<\/strong>13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again?<\/i> It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.<\/span><\/span>
\n14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;<\/span>
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0nor does anyone<\/i> light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.<\/span>

\n<\/strong>9 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Let<\/i> love be<\/i> without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Be<\/i> devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;
\n11 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
\n12 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,
\n13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.
\n14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
\n16 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
\n17 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men.
\n18 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.
\n19 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God,<\/i> for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.
\n20 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0“BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD.”
