Principalities (Rulers)\u00a0= Highest Powers<\/p>\n 2. Powers = All Powers<\/p>\n 3. Darkness = Rulers of Darkness<\/p>\n 4. Spiritual Forces = spirits of Wickedness<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Why Must We Deal With Our Enemy?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n He has come to DECEIVE us.<\/strong><\/p>\n Genesis <\/b>3:1,4-5 (NASB) <\/b><\/p>\n 1 \u00a0Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” 4 \u00a0The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! 5 \u00a0“For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”<\/p>\n John 8:44 (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n 44 \u00a0“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.'” 11 \u00a0Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He has come to DESTROY us.<\/strong><\/p>\n John 10:10a (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n 10 \u00a0“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;<\/p>\n <\/p>\n How Do We Deal With Our Enemy?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The Gospel defeats the works of the devil.<\/strong><\/p>\n Colossians 2:8-15\u00a0<\/strong> (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n 8 \u00a0See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. 9 \u00a0For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 \u00a0and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; 11 \u00a0and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ;12 \u00a0having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 \u00a0When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14 \u00a0having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 \u00a0When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Gospel destroys the works of the devil.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1 John 3:8 (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n 8 \u00a0the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. \n<\/strong>10 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

\n<\/strong> 13 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 <\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.<\/p>\n
